Six illustrious citizens of Amsterdam came together on 15 September 1881 to breathe life into the 'Provisional Committee to build a concert hall'. The building's grand opening was 7 years later on 11 April 1888. During a 75 minutes tour with our English tour guide you can listen to anecdotes drawn from the rich history of the building.
